Coral Beach Hotel Dar Es Salaam, Dar es Salaam

The hotel had a rocky start with a problematic room on the first night, but after being moved twice, the stay became very enjoyable. The rooms, once settled in, were good and made the overall experience pleasant. The service, despite some disorganization, was mostly pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location offered beach access in a safe area, and the dining experience, although lacking in certain aspects, had some issues like extra charges for certain items.

The hotel doesn't live up to its 4-star rating; more like a 2-star. While the rooms offered a nice view, they were dirty and constantly felt damp, even with the A/C running. The staff was polite and friendly, making the overall stay in Dar Es Salaam enjoyable, but there were some mixed signals on arrival. The location near the marina provided stunning sunset views, although not central. Dining options were good but lacked variety for the price. The facilities were adequate but nothing extraordinary.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were lovely, well-appointed, and quiet with a balcony view of the sea. The restaurant offered terrific food, and the conference venue was well-organized with a great team. However, the only downside was that my room didn't face the ocean directly; instead, I had a view of the pool and the beach club.
